Thank you for visiting, Valerie. I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this, too. If I can help in any way, please contact me (you can use the contact link at the top of the page) - I can be an ear for venting or I'll answer any questions that I can. I know what you're going through. I did not have anyone that could relate so well to what I was going through at the time and that's why I created this site and wrote all the cancer articles at Hubpages that I did - so hopefully I could touch someone and give help to someone.

It was very strange to read an blog that sounded just like my journey!!! I'm 38 and not yet cancer free, I'm just now going thru radiation and also had the tram flap procedure. I'm looking forward to reading more about your journey.

Hi Tati,

Jenny called me today after a long while. She told me about your hubpages, which I found as well as your blog site. Throughout this entire process I have kept you in my thoughts and regret not reaching out to you. On the other hand, it's been so long I didn't know if the time was time. Dumb, eh?! Anyway, I look forward to reading on.......
Love, Mariel

Thank you for visiting, Lancelonie. Yes, it's been very therapeutic for me to write about it. I also hope someone who needs this type of insight can find it. Everyone's story and experience is different, but I feel that it helps to know what someone else in similar shoes has been through.

I tried to visit your site, but it won't let me access it without an invitation...

Wow! This is pure coincidence!
I just happen to browse your Disney hubpage because my hubby and I are thinking about it. When I read your story, I got goosebumps. It's October, breast cancer awareness month, and I have just posted an article about it on my eXaminer page and my website, theFlickrite.com. I also uploaded a photo on my Flickr.
This is inspiring, especially to those undergoing the same scenario. It's good that you find healing in blogging, too.

Best of luck to you!!! :)
