<p>She told me that there’s a 12% probability of me having a hereditary cancer gene, based on family history.</p>
<p>I went to the lab and had my blood drawn for the test; they said it would take 2 – 5 weeks for the result.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, my lumpectomy is scheduled for July 7<sup>th</sup>, six days from now.</p>
