I am a 38 year old stay at home mom of two beautiful little girls. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2008 and am currently (September 2009) at the tail end of all my treatment. I am in remission.
I have learned a lot along my cancer journey over the past 15 months and created this site to hopefully be available for anyone who’s searching to read someone else’s story. Nothing replaces medical advice, but hearing someones first-hand experience with a disease can also be useful for some. I know it was for me. I hope it is for you.
I am pretty new to the web, as far as creating web content and blogs myself, but I am making an attempt with a couple of blogs in addition to this one: shopping from home, get organized, emergency preparedness, and make money on the internet. I have a rather significant mountain of medical bills from my cancer treatment and I’m trying to earn money from home to help pay them while being able to continue to stay at home with my daughters, so feel free to refer people to my sites and please don’t mind that I’m still working on them!
I’ve also been writing on HubPages for a couple of months now and I really enjoy it over there, it’s a great “community”.
